Cody Dunlap was sent to Houston to help with the Hurricane Harvey Relief.
He was tasked with setting up an area of operation in a mall parking lot; from there he performed small tasks like passing out water to larger tasks like rescuing stranded civilians as part of a boat rescue team.

Cody says that helping hurricane victims in person allows you to get to see their situation up close in person – and it hits you. This is going to take a lot of money to rebuild the city, and it will never be the same. There will be opportunities to help out for months, even years. Cody says a lot of people are donating money, but being so close to Houston the biggest impact we can make is to find a local organization and volunteer.
